Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Aggregate Maintenance Technician for the Swing Shift to uphold the readiness of mining processing equipment. You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment and prepare daily/weekly department reports.

Responsibilities include scheduling PMs, maintaining parts inventory, and reporting repairs to supervision while adhering to safety and environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in mechanical repair, installation and construction in industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance including welding and fabrication tools.
• Preferred experience operating skid-steer, man-lift and other industrial equipment.
• Basic computer skills.

Aggregate Maintenance Technician - Swing Shift

About The Role

Aggregate Maintenance Technician-Swing Shift is responsible for maintaining mining processing equipment in a state of readiness. Performs the appropriate inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on processing and conveying equipment. Prepares all required daily/weekly department operating reports.

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment by following the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and company procedures.
• Maintains an inventory of regularly required replacement parts.
• Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor.
• Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns.
• Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

What We’re Looking For

• Required Education: High School diploma/equivalent
• Required Work Experience: Experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in industrial environments.
• Must have basic mechanical aptitude and general industrial maintenance to include: stick welding, arc welding, lite fabrication, cutting torch, and wrenching (hand tools).
• Preferred experience operating a skid‑steer, man‑lift, and other industrial equipment.
• Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills.

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
