The Bluffton Stone Company, part of The Gerken Companies, is hiring an Aggregate Loader Operator to safely operate loaders and support daily quarry operations in Bluffton. You will work on a team, stay active outdoors, and contribute to safe, productive operations.

You will perform loader duties, assist with maintenance, and follow MSHA safety rules to help meet production goals. This full-time role offers strong team collaboration and physical activity in a quarry setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate a loader to continuously load and feed the primary crusher.
• Perform load-and-carry operations as part of production processes.
• Operate other quarry equipment as needed (skid steers, haul trucks).
• Perform preventative maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and MSHA regulations.
• Support quarry operations and production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

About the Role

We're hiring an Aggregate Loader Operator to safely operate loaders and other heavy equipment while supporting daily quarry operations and production activities. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with equipment, staying active, and contributing to a team‑oriented environment.

This is a full‑time position based in Bluffton, Ohio.

What You'll Do

• Operate a loader to continuously load and feed the primary crusher
• Perform load‑and‑carry operations as part of the production process
• Operate additional equipment such as skid steers, haul trucks, and other quarry equipment as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance and daily equipment inspections
• Follow all safety procedures and MSHA regulations
• Support overall quarry operations and production goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to safely access and navigate the quarry and surrounding work areas
• Ability to safely climb and descend ladders
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physical conditions
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours as operational needs require
