Job summary

Piqua Materials, Inc. is seeking an Aggregate Equipment Operator to run loaders, crushers, screeners, and haul trucks at our aggregate production sites. You will feed material into processing equipment, monitor cycles, and help keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires 1+ year of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in variable conditions. High school diploma or GED preferred; willingness to perform general labor and follow safety

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience operating heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with loaders, crushers, or screeners.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a production team.
• Valid driver’s license; equipment certifications a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment at aggregate production sites (loaders, crushers, screeners, haul trucks).
• Feed raw material into crushing and screening equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor material flow and adjust machine settings to meet quality standards.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance; report issues.
• Coordinate with plant supervisors, truck drivers, and ground personnel.
• Follow safety protocols, company policies and environmental regulations.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as shoveling and cleanup as needed.
