Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a seasoned Heavy Equipment Operator to support aggregates production. The role involves operating equipment of various sizes, maintaining stockpiles, and ensuring reliable plant operations in a dynamic outdoor setting.

You will also perform routine maintenance, assist crew, and document related tasks as required. Candidates should have a GED or high school diploma and at least one year of equipment experience or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of heavy equipment operation or related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in the production of aggregates.
• Maintain stockpiles of stone to ensure consistent production of asphalt.
• Maintain housekeeping of plant and facilities.
• Ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Perform routine inspection and preventative/corrective maintenance on equipment; escalate issues as needed.
• Routinely assist other crew members, including shoveling and cleanup.
• Fuel, oil and grease equipment and complete related paperwork.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
