Piqua Materials, Inc. is seeking an Aggregate Equipment Operator to run loaders, crushers, screeners, and haul trucks at our aggregate production sites. You will feed material into processing equipment, monitor cycles, and help keep operations safe and efficient.

Operate heavy equipment including loaders, crushers, screeners, and haul trucks at aggregate production sites. Feed raw material into crushing and screening equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor material flow, adjust machine settings, and ensure final product meets quality standards. Perform pre‑shift inspections, routine equipment maintenance, and report mechanical issues. Work in close coordination with plant supervisors, truck drivers, and ground personnel. Follow strict safety protocols, company policies, and environmental regulations. Assist with general labor tasks such as shoveling, cleanup, and equipment adjustments as needed.
1+ year of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in an aggregate or mining environment. Familiarity with loaders, crushers, or screeners preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Commitment to safety and environmental compliance. Ability to work independently or as part of a production team. Valid driver’s license required; equipment certifications are a plus. High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather and dusty conditions. Long periods of standing, walking, climbing on equipment, and operating machinery. Ability to navigate tight areas Requires strong focus and situational awareness in high‑noise, high‑traffic environments. Rapid emergency egress Climb ladders Sit for extended periods of time Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
