Job summary

Synechron, a global consulting firm delivering digital solutions, seeks an experienced Agentic AI MCP Engineer to design, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents using the Model Context Protocol. Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with at least 2+ years focused on Generative AI and Agentic AI development.
• Strong Python programming and API development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations and integrations.
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel.

We are seeking an experienced Agentic AI MCP Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI agents using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building autonomous AI systems, multi-agent architectures, LLM-powered applications, MCP tool integrations, retrieval systems, and enterprise-grade AI solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Generative AI, AI orchestration frameworks, Python development, and cloud-native architectures.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $120k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role
