Job summary

Stand is building the self-driving insurer, a national carrier where automated agentic capabilities and a robust evaluation framework are the core. You’ll own the runtime, contracts, and eval framework that power hundreds of agents for underwriting and risk management.

You will design an opinionated deployment platform and the builder experience, enabling rapid, reliable shipping of new capabilities with measurable impact on underwriting outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping agentic systems into production environments where reliability is critical.
• Demonstrated track record of building tools or frameworks for engineering teams.
• Proficiency in designing and managing evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and ship the skill-and-eval contract for one real vertical within 30 days.
• Build an opinionated platform for agent deployment and lifecycle management within 3 months.
• Develop a high-throughput orchestration engine to manage agents and evaluations at scale within the first year.
• Collaborate with applied science to leverage model training in deployment.
