Job summary

Stand Insurance is recruiting for a role that sits at the seam between product, engineering, and data science to build a self-driving insurer framework. You will own the runtime, contracts, and evaluation stack that powers hundreds of agentic capabilities across underwriting and claims workflows.

The role emphasizes building a scalable, permissioned platform for agent deployment, with a focus on reliability, throughput, and cross-team collaboration to scale automation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping agentic systems into production.
• Built tools or frameworks for engineering teams.
• Proficiency in designing and managing evaluation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building Model Context Protocol (MCP) implementations.
• Experience managing prompts and skills in production environments.
• Familiarity with authorization frameworks and best practices.
• Comfort and experience in product discovery.

Responsibilities

• Own the runtime, contracts, and eval framework powering every agentic capability.
• Develop an opinionated platform for agent deployment and lifecycle management for the engineering team.
• Build a high-throughput orchestration engine to manage agents and evaluations at scale, coordinating multi-agent workflows and health monitoring.
• Partner with Applied Science to leverage models and training data for the harness.
• Create a simple builder experience guiding technology choices and deployment strategies.
