Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Consultant, Cyber Operations to design and implement agentic cyber security solutions in a hybrid work model across multiple U.S. locations.

You will work with modern LLM platforms, agent frameworks, and enterprise data to create scalable, observable defenses. The role emphasizes secure software engineering, threat-informed design, and cross-functional collaboration with architecture, security, and platform teams to drive production-ready

Qualifications

• Undergraduate studies in cyber security, MIS, engineering, math, computer science, data analytics or comparable experience.
• Graduate studies in cyber security or computer science are a plus.
• Experience building agentic or LLM-powered applications and secure software practices.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and operates agentic cyber security solutions with approved models and data sources.
• Owns agent behavior, orchestration, prompts, and workflow implementation.
• Collaborates with architecture, security, and platform teams to produce production-ready solutions.
• Define evaluation plans for quality, safety, and regression detection.
