Ekimetrics in Paris seeks an internship in Agentic AI for semi-automating the data science workflow. You will join the Innovation Department to work on remit, AI agents, and production-grade tooling on the Databricks stack.

You will collaborate with PhDs, review research, design agents, and build benchmarks; duration six months in Paris; opportunity to transition to full-time.

Ideal candidates are final-year Master or Engineering students with strong ML foundation, Python, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Currently in final year of a Master's or Engineering degree with ML and programming foundations.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with data science toolkits.
• Fluency in English and ability to explain results to non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Review latest research on agentic data science and AI agent evaluation.
• Design and implement remit agents focusing on problem framing and data design.
• Define system interactions with business users: when to ask, when to stop, how to explain results.
• Extend system toward modeling and evaluation using trusted tools like scikit-learn, AutoML.
• Build benchmarks, run experiments, and participate in pilots with business users.
• Help integrate the system with Databricks stack and ensure governed operation.
