Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, and operate agentic AI capabilities for imaging clinical trials. You will enable automated data intake, validation, and structured extraction from multi‑modal artifacts, while shaping PDLC into an AI‑driven lifecycle.

You will collaborate with product, imaging ops, data engineering, QA, and regulatory teams, promoting safe, auditable, and scalable AI systems across production environments.

Qualifications

• Solid professional software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Experience implementing LLM-based systems (agentic workflows, tool calls, structured outputs).
• Practical experience evaluating LLM/agent quality (offline tests + production telemetry).
• Healthcare/life sciences or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify high‑value automation opportunities with cross‑functional teams.
• Translate imaging workflows and PDLC into agent‑ready task models.
• Define quality rubrics, evaluation datasets, and human-review workflows.
• Support change management with clear UX patterns, onboarding and documentation.
• Promote engineering best practices for agentic systems and reproducibility.
• Contribute to standards for prompts, tooling, grounding, and traceability.
• Participate in design reviews and guide framework choices.
• Coach peers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Build agentic workflows for data intake/validation, QC, and extraction.
• Implement RAG patterns grounded in controlled sources with traceability.
• Develop production‑quality APIs/tools with testing and maintainability.
• Package/deploy agentic services with CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Build observability: traces, logs, telemetry and cost monitoring.
• Ensure safe production ops with rollback strategies and feature flags.
