Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced AI Developer to design, build, and optimize agentic AI capabilities for modernizing enterprise workflows. You will work hands-on with LLMs, multi-agent orchestration, and integration across APIs, databases, and tools using Java, Spring Boot and Google Vertex AI.

The role demands 8+ years of software development, strong Python and Java backend skills, and production experience with GenAI projects.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands on experience in Python.
• 2+ years experience building and deploying real world agents in Production environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development (4+ years exp).
• Hands of experience in developing AI/ML or Generative AI projects.
• Hands on experience on Google ADK, MCP servers, agent to agent communication, agent orchestration.
• REST APIs and distributed systems design.
• Hands on experience on Python, LLMs, GenAI, and agent-based systems.
• Hands on experience with GCP services (Vertex AI preferred).
