Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Senior Lead Architect to shape target-state architecture across domains. You will drive agentic AI solutions, design prototypes, and implement patterns in public cloud while coordinating with engineering, product, security, and platform teams.

You will balance future-facing architecture with hands-on delivery, ensuring traceability, controls, and measurable value across enterprise applications and services for 300,000+ employees.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) and deep expertise in software architecture, applications, and technical processes.

Responsibilities

• Represents a product family in technical governance bodies and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices.
• Regularly provides technical guidance to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Leverages AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis and decisioning with human-in-the-loop validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Guides evaluation of current and new technologies using standards and frameworks to adopt leading-edge solutions.
• Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews code written by others.
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert and contributes to engineering community and SDLC practices.
• Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC for traceability, resiliency, and security.
