Job summary

ListEngage, LLC seeks a skilled Salesforce AI engineer to design, build, test, and deploy autonomous Agentforce agents across Salesforce clouds. You will create custom agent actions, prompts, and guardrails to ensure safe, effective responses and integrate agents with Data Cloud and external systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Salesforce development, hands-on Agentforce production experience, and strong prompt engineering with LLMs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of development and configuration experience within Salesforce Platform
• Hands-on experience building and deploying Agentforce agents in production environments
• Expertise in Salesforce Flow (including autonomous mode flows) and Apex
• Experience with API development and integration, including designing and consuming RESTful APIs via MuleSoft or native Salesforce
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and working with Large Language Models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)
• Experience with Data Cloud or similar customer data platforms
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and grounding techniques
• Experience with agent testing methodologies and conversation design principles

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing including unit testing, simulation testing, and support UAT
• Monitor agent performance analytics and continuously optimize based on conversation metrics
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to agent responses, actions, and integrations

About the Role:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy autonomous AI agents using Salesforce Agentforce across Salesforce clouds

Build and configure custom Agent Actions (Flows, Apex, Prompt Templates, MuleSoft APIs) to extend agent capabilities

Design and implement agent topics, instructions, and guardrails to ensure accurate and safe agent responses

Education & Experience Requirements:

3+ years of development and configuration experience within Salesforce Platform

Hands-on experience building and deploying Agentforce agents in production environments

Expertise in Salesforce Flow (including autonomous mode flows) and Apex for custom agent actions

Experience with API development and integration, including designing and consuming RESTful APIs via MuleSoft or native Salesforce

Proficiency in prompt engineering and working with Large Language Models (GPT-4, Claude, etc.)

Experience with Data Cloud or similar customer data platforms

Understanding of AI/ML concepts, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and grounding techniques

Experience with agent testing methodologies and conversation design principles

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Deep understanding of Agentforce architecture, Agent Builder, and the Atlas Reasoning Engine

Ability to design conversational AI experiences with appropriate agent tone, personality, and guardrails

Strong prompt engineering skills with ability to iterate and optimize agent instructions

Knowledge of Einstein Trust Layer, data security, and compliance requirements for AI agents

Experience with agent performance monitoring, A/B testing, and continuous improvement

Ability to translate business requirements into agent capabilities and action plans

Strong understanding of when to use agents vs. traditional automation (Flows, Apex)

Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration and handoff patterns

Knowledge of Salesforce metadata deployment (DevOps, change sets, or CI/CD pipelines)

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex agent behaviors

Strong communication skills to explain agent capabilities and limitations to non-technical stakeholders
