Rnb Consultancy, a seed-stage AI startup in San Francisco, seeks engineers to own the lifecycle of AI agents—from execution and memory to tool use and integration. You’ll shape reliability and security while connecting to customer systems, both locally and globally.

The role demands shipping production software, 1+ year in AI/agent spaces, startup-level ownership, and full-time on-site work in San Francisco (9-9-6, weekends sometimes). Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

You've shipped AI agents to production and made them reliable. Own the whole agent lifecycle at a fast-growing AI startup.

A seed-stage AI startup in San Francisco helps companies control their own AI: a model router across hundreds of models, hosted anywhere, plus AI agents that carry out real business tasks, like paying an invoice. Around 100 customers worldwide use it. You'll own a wide part of how agents work: how they run, remember and use tools and models, how they connect to other systems, the infrastructure underneath and the product on top, always with reliability, monitoring and security in mind.

They're hiring 3 engineers.

What you'll own

• Agent execution, memory, skills and tool use
• Integrations, infrastructure and the interfaces customers use
• Reliability: evals, observability and failure handling
• On-site work with customers around the world, sometimes for a week

Must-haves

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of shipping production software (leaning on AI-assisted coding without understanding the infrastructure won't fit)
• At least 1 year of hands-on work on AI or agent systems
• Startup-level ownership and pace (mostly big-company experience won't fit)
• Working from the San Francisco office five days a week, 9-9-6, sometimes including weekends, and happy to go on site at customers anywhere in the world

Bonus points

• TypeScript or Node.js, integrations, evals, agent memory or runtimes
• Software you deployed inside customer environments
• Founder experience or a deep area you can teach; non-traditional paths are welcome
