Job summary

PNC is seeking an Underwriter I - Agency in its Multi-Family Capital group, based in Dallas, TX or Calabasas, CA. The role involves applying independent judgment to assess credit risk, analyze loan collateral, and prepare loan offerings using scorecards.

You will support credit structuring, may assist with pre- or post-approval activities, and interact with customers. A bachelor’s degree is typically required with less than one year of experience; exceptions possible for related certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + <1 year of professional experience or completion of a formal development program.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of credit analysis and underwriting principles and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit, collateral strength and financial worthiness to prepare and recommend loan offerings based on scorecards.
• Provide recommendations for credit structuring and risk mitigants.
• May include relevant pre-approval and post-approval activities and interaction with customers.
