Job summary

PNC is seeking an Originator Sr. in the Multi-Family Capital group, based in Washington. You will originate multifamily investments and loans, structure terms, and manage relationships with developers and owners.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years’ industry experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and relevant certifications. The role emphasizes market monitoring, regulatory awareness, and a customer-focused, risk-aware approach.

Qualifications

• University/college degree required; Masters desirable.
• Industry relevant experience 8+ years.
• Certifications often required; in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Originates multifamily investments, interim and permanent loans for conventional and affordable rental housing.
• Evaluates, structures and negotiates terms for investments and loans.
• Develops and implements a marketing strategy; solicits new and manages existing relationships with developers and owners.
• Monitors markets and competitors; engages with state allocating agencies and other entities as needed.
• Maintains understanding of agency and federal requirements on transactions, programs, products and structures.
