Job summary

MarketStar is seeking an Agency Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team of Account Managers supporting our Reddit program in Ogden, UT. You will drive agency partnerships, scale Reddit advertising solutions, and ensure growth through retention and upsell motions.

You will coach, develop, and align cross-functional stakeholders to deliver consistent revenue results, optimize agency workflows, and build scalable best practices across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people leadership experience in sales, preferably within digital advertising, agency sales, or ad tech.
• Experience leading sales teams responsible for agency-managed books of business.
• Strong coaching, feedback, and talent development skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Experience driving performance through KPIs, pipeline metrics, and data-informed decisionmaking.
• Solid understanding of digital advertising and agency operating models; familiarity with Reddit Ads is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Experience using CRM tools and sales performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers responsible for selling Reddit advertising solutions through ad agencies.
• Set clear performance expectations aligned to agency growth, retention, and upsell objectives.
• Monitor and manage team KPIs, agency pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue attainment to meet or exceed quarterly goals.
• Deliver ongoing coaching focused on consultative selling, agency relationship management, and advertiser performance optimization.
• Analyze performance trends and agency portfolio data to identify gaps, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Partner closely with Agency Client Partners to align on agency strategies, campaign performance, and long-term account planning.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and Enablement partners to refine agency sales motions and improve team efficiency.
• Facilitate team training on Reddit’s advertising platform, agency best practices, and evolving product offerings.
• Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ramp of new team members to ensure readiness for agencyfacing sales motions.
• Provide regular business insights, performance reporting, and recommendations to internal and client stakeholders.

About the Agency Sales Manager – Reddit

MarketStar is seeking an Agency Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team of Account Managers supporting our Reddit program in Ogden, UT. In this role, you will manage a team responsible for selling and scaling Reddit advertising solutions through advertising agencies, with a focus on agency-led growth, retention, and upsell motions across a portfolio of advertiser accounts.

As an Agency Sales Manager, you will be accountable for team performance, coaching, and execution of agency-specific sales motions aligned to Reddit’s strategy. You will partner closely with Agency Client Partners, Program Leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive consistent revenue results, optimize agency workflows, and develop scalable best practices.

This role is critical to the success of Reddit’s agency ecosystem and the continued development of a high-impact sales team. You will bring a performance mindset, a passion for people leadership, and adata-driven approach to managing agency sales motions at scale.
