Shelter Insurance Companies is seeking an Agency Recruiting Specialist (Resident) to recruit, interview, and recommend applicants for agency positions across Shelter's operating territory. This role requires travel and offers company vehicle and paid travel expenses.

Base salary is $63,273; final candidates will undergo a Credit Bureau Report, Motor Vehicle Report and Criminal Background Check. Home office equipment provided.

What You Will Be Doing

Recruit, interview, and recommend applicants for agency positions across Shelter\'s operating territory. Perform other duties at the request of the Recruiting Manager. Home office equipment and company vehicle provided as well as travel expenses paid.

Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, Credit Bureau Report, Motor Vehicle Report, and Criminal Background Check are ordered on final candidates.

• Capacity to travel overnight frequently, can be 50% overnight travel or more


• Ability to develop contacts and learn the local area/community, in person on assigned vacancy


• Capability to obtain P & C and Life & Health licensing and maintain current industry knowledge through industry courses (company paid)


• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
