AmeriCare Plus in Virginia is seeking an Agency Manager for the South Hill/Mecklenburg location. This full-time, salaried leadership role focuses on growing the business, building a strong team, and delivering dependable in-home care.

You will drive referrals, manage admissions and operations, ensure compliance, and partner with leadership to meet budget goals while expanding community relationships. The position offers competitive benefits and the opportunity to impact the local community.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Business-development mindset and ability to market services.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and accountability.
• A valid driver's license.
• Experience with Medicaid-funded home care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth: develop community relationships, market services, cultivate referrals, and identify opportunities to grow the client base.
• Lead and develop your team: oversee office staff and field personnel, support hiring and retention, provide training, maintain accountability for performance.
• Manage daily operations: oversee client admissions/discharges, caregiver scheduling, staffing coverage, payroll verification, billing, and reporting.
• Maintain compliance and quality: ensure operations meet regulations, policies, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• Own agency performance: partner with corporate leadership to meet budget, strengthen staffing, and support long-term branch success.

What You'll Do

• Previous management or supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead people and manage day-to-day operations.

• A business-development mindset and the confidence to market services, build professional relationships, and generate new business.

• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and accountability.

• A valid driver's license and a positive, verifiable work history.

• Experience with Medicaid-funded home care is a plus! Familiarity with Virginia's home care regulations and Medicaid requirements is beneficial.
