Job Duties

Virginia Department of Health is hiring an Agency Management Analyst Senior that will support our procurement and general services operations through policy development, data analysis, research, reporting, and administrative support.
This position is responsible for drafting operational policies and procedures and tracking the status of the implementation of audit corrective actions, supporting the administrative functions performed by the procurement and general services staff under the direction of the Office Director. This position will also conduct studies and makes recommendations that enhances operational efficiency and effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented analyst who can independently research complex information, translate data into clear and actionable reports, and work collaboratively with staff and leadership across the agency

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience planning and analytical tasks, providing management with a comprehensive view of operations, conduct analytical and statistical research, provide alternative solutions and assessments of long-range impacts of work processes and recommendations reported in studies and reports
• Experienced in drafting of operational policies and procedures
• Performs data collection, research, organizational studies and statistical analysis
• Utilizes research methodologies, statistical and analytical techniques and organizational theory and planning
• Experience tracking and reporting on finance and budget activities
• Experience communicating effectively, both orally and in writing and in training sessions

Additional Considerations

• Experience in public or private procurement and operational analysis desired
• Strong computer skills
• Working knowledge of the Department of General Services procurement, general services, facilities and fleet management policies and procedures
