Addus HomeCare in Prescott, AZ is seeking an Agency Director to oversee daily operations and ensure safe, effective home care services in line with quality standards and state/federal regulations.

The role leads scheduling, care plan development, budgeting, staff recruitment and training, and business development to grow client base and revenue. Travel is frequent; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and five to seven years of healthcare supervisory/management experience.
• Experience in home health or community-based services is preferred.
• Proven ability to drive census and revenue growth.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic budgeting/financial oversight (P&L).
• Strong communication, team-building and interpersonal skills; reliable transportation and license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall agency operations, guiding staff in scheduling and delivering client services.
• Oversee care plan development and execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Manage daily administrative functions including scheduling, payroll, billing, and recordkeeping.
• Recruit, train, and retain agency staff; coordinate education programs with the support center.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulatory standards; support business development and referrals.

Position Summary:

The Agency Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the agency, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective home care services in alignment with quality standards, state and federal regulations, and individual care plans. This role also plays a key part in business development efforts to grow the client base and drive revenue.

• Build relationships with referral agencies and participate in industry organizations.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor financial performance; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of healthcare and supervisory/management experience
• Preferred experience in home health or community-based services
• Proven ability to drive census and revenue growth
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with P&L and budget management
• Strong communication, team-building, and interpersonal skills
• Frequent local travel
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and state-required insurance
