Job summary

Santander is seeking an Agency Desk Associate to support the middle office management of syndicated and bilateral loan facilities where Santander acts as Administrative Agent and/or Collateral Agent.

Role involves coordinating, monitoring, and controlling agency responsibilities across the loan lifecycle, ensuring deal terms are correctly interpreted and communicated to stakeholders while maintaining audit-ready documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business or related field.
• 5+ Years Experience with commercial loan operations.
• Excellent communication, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and bank systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review, and validate agency deliverables and loan documents across the loan lifecycle.
• Interpret and communicate loan terms, amendments, and notices to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor deal events (funding, interest periods, fee dates, maturities) and ensure timely execution.
• Support audit, control, and documentation processes with accurate evidence and reconciliations.
