Job summary

Land O'Lakes in Websterville, VT seeks a 1st Shift Production Operator for Aged Cheese. You will oversee aging rooms, form products for drying/aging, and prepare them for the finished stage while following GMPs, safety and quality programs.

The role requires basic math, reading/writing, and ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment. Starting pay is $21.25 per hour with a multi-part signing bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle machines; clean and sanitize equipment.
• Coordinate with cheesemakers and ensure efficient operation.
• Take measurements (weight, pH, temp, moisture) and adjust equipment.
• Complete draining, forming, and quality paperwork; maintain clean work area.
• Report issues to QA Manager/Supervisor and follow SOPs and GMPs.
