Job summary

Lakota Solutions is seeking an Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Mechanic on swing shift to support our contract at Eglin AFB, FL. The role involves inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and functional tests on powered and non-powered AGE, with reporting to the section lead.

The candidate must be a US citizen with CAC eligibility and DoD Secret clearance, and have 5+ years of AGE experience, general mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams for maintenance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to operate common and special hand and power tools.
• Must obtain and maintain valid state and flightline driver license.

Responsibilities

• Clear X-condition discrepancies and symbols.
• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions; perform repairs and servicing.
• Troubleshoot AGE malfunctions using drawings and schematics.
• Operate and test AGE to confirm proper operation per data.
• Maintain maintenance records and MIS documentation.
