Job summary

Rockhill Group seeks an AGE Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain assigned support equipment at Columbus AFB, MS. You will work with CAMS documentation, manage maintenance data, and ensure safety and tool discipline on-site.

The role requires a strong knowledge of powered AGE repair procedures, two years of related experience, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. On-base duties may include TDY and travel.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of powered AGE repair procedures.
• Two years’ recent experience as a powered SE/CASS mechanic or equivalent in powered AGE maintenance.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Duties may involve working with fuels, oils, lubricants, chemical cleaners, and solutions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driver’s license and may be required to obtain a class CDL.
• Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
• Physical exertion requirement is medium.

• Inspects, repairs, and maintains assigned support equipment, using applicable maintenance instructions and related technical data.
• Detects and treats corrosion.
• Enters required data on maintenance forms.
• Maintains hand and powered tools in an orderly manner.
• Assists senior work center personnel as required.
• Annotates maintenance actions in AGE records and is proficient in CAMS documentation.
• Operates portable fire-fighting equipment.
• Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.
• Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directed.
• Must promote Company values, policies, and standards of conduct.
• Must be customer oriented and ensure professional coordination with base agencies.
• Shall perform other duties assigned to include TDY and travel.
• Must be able to work day shift, night shift, or weekend duty as required.
• Receives cross-utilization training and is qualified to perform those maintenance tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
