Job summary

The Westport Weston Family YMCA is seeking an Age Group Coach to lead and develop the age group swim program under the Head Coach. You will run daily practices, plan meets, manage scheduling, and communicate with coaches and parents to support team development.

You will maintain essential certifications (CPR, First Aid, USA Swimming coaching requirements) and assist with senior/national practices as needed, attending meetings and clinics to promote growth and program success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Hy-Tek and swimming software is preferred.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills are required.
• Proficiency with computer applications used for scheduling, communication, and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Organize and run age-group practices under Head Coach.
• Attend coaches and parent meetings.
• Oversee the Age Group program and schedule meets and events.
• Report to Head Coach on matters related to Age Group level.
