Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certifications required.
• YMCA Lifeguard certification required.
• Competitive swimming and coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of stroke development and swimming techniques.
• Strong swimmer who can model strokes.
• Must acquire Y of the USA Competitive Swimming and Diving within 3 months.
• BA in related field helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for daily practice sessions and document structure.
• Attend meets with the Association Head Swim Team Coach.
• Coordinate team record keeping and fundraising efforts.
• Promote program awareness within the community.
• Ensure safety of all Swim Team children in pool areas and locker rooms.
• Report 15 minutes prior to meets and practices; set up and take down equipment.
