Job summary

Ziegler Inc. is seeking an equipment trainer to deliver operator training and onboarding for Ziegler’s portfolio, including FENDT, Massey Ferguson, Gleaner, Brandt, Geringhoff, and CAT.

You will lead demonstrations, support technical questions, and coordinate with Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and ongoing loyalty. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, agricultural experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Ag related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort operating agricultural equipment.
• 2+ years agriculture experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Availability during off-hours and weekends to support customer emergency needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell extended warranties, service contracts, and customer support programs.
• Lead field demonstrations that showcase machine capabilities, precision technology, and performance benefits.
• Serve as the frontline resource for basic technology support, helping customers navigate displays, connectivity tools, machine data, and precision ag features.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Reps on deliveries, demonstrations and follow-up activities.
• Document all customer interactions, demonstrations, and training activity in the CRM.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and emerging ag technologies through training.
• Support Ag Product Support teams with branch training needs.
• Promote and reinforce safety best practices during all training, demos, and operation sessions.

• Lead field demonstrations that showcase machine capabilities, precision technology, and performance benefits
• Serve as the frontline resource for basic technology support, helping customers navigate displays, connectivity tools, machine data, and precision ag features
• Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Sales Representatives on deliveries, demonstrations and follow-up activities that strengthen customer loyalty and support sales growth
• Document all customer interactions, demonstrations, and training activity in the CRM to support transparency and alignment across teams
• Maintain strong knowledge of equipment, competitive products, and emerging agriculture technologies through continuous training
• Support Ag Product Support teams by assisting with branch training needs to ensure cross-departmental proficiency
• Promote and reinforce safety best practices during all training, demonstrations, and equipment operation sessions

Qualifications

• 2+ years of agriculture experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly

• Availability during off-hours and weekends to support customer emergency needs as required

Travel

• Up to 50% travel within assigned territory; minimal overnight travel

The total compensation (base plus incentive) for this position is

$90,700.00 to $136,000.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, and education. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
