Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining piler equipment.
• Familiar with all site duties including piler, sampler, loader, scale house computer.
• Able to enforce company safety and work rules.
• Record repairs and coordinate with maintenance team.
• Manage crews to ensure breaks and productivity.
• Maintain a safe and clean worksite.
• Communicate across piler, ag repair, and ag staff.
• Handle culverts placement in deep freeze piles.
• Willing to perform other duties.

Ag Factory Yard Assistant Foreman is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the piling site including equipmentmaintenance, personnel management, communications, and the enforcement of safety and operatingpolicies to achieve proper storage of a quality sugarbeet crop.

Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide direction and assistance with operating, repairing and maintaining piler equipment.

• Needs to be familiar with all job duties at the site including operating a piler, taking samples, running a loader, operating the scale house computer, etc.

• Enforce all American Crystal Sugar work rules.

• Keep record of needed repairs and communicate that to the repair crew.

• Enforce Heat, Frost, and Safety Policies.

• Ensure that only good beets are going into the long term storage piles.

• Manage the crews so everyone gets their allowed breaks.

• Maintain a safe and clean worksite.

• Communicate with piler crew, ag repair crew and ag staff.

• Responsible to get culverts placed where necessary in deep freeze piles.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Practice safety measures at all times.

Compensation Range:

$23.98 - $23.98 /hr
