Job summary

Purcell, OK — Large Ag Service Technician is responsible for basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment, following instructions from the Service Manager or Shop Foreman. The role requires keeping equipment and tools in good condition and maintaining safety at all times.

In this position you will participate in ongoing training, document work performed, and stay current on John Deere and competing products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven knowledge of repair methods, materials and tools for agricultural equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic software and internet resources.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostics and determines needed repairs.
• Performs basic repairs as directed by supervisor.
• Participates in job-related training and development.
• Prepares reports and forms for work assignments.
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.

Purcell, OK - Large Ag Service Technician*Job FunctionPerforms basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Service Manager or Shop Foreman. Maintains professional communication with all company locations to insure information flows in an appropriate manner.Essential Duties1. Performs basic agricultural equipment diagnostics and determines what repairs are needed, if required.2.
