Job summary

P&K Equipment in Kingfisher, OK is seeking a Large Ag Service Technician who performs diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer or dealer-owned agricultural equipment. The role requires strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge and a commitment to safety.

You will communicate with Service Manager and Shop Foreman, maintain tools and parts, and participate in training. Benefits include health and life insurance, retirement match, PTO, and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use standard computer software applications such as diagnostic software and internet functions.
• Good skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Good driving record and safety habits.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic agricultural equipment diagnostics and determines what repairs are needed, if required.
• Performs basic agricultural equipment repairs as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
• Participates in all job-related training and development.
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and practices good safety habits.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
