Job summary

Minnwest Bank in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Business Banker to develop agricultural and commercial loans, manage a credit portfolio, and cross-sell banking services with a customer-first approach.

You will collaborate with other Business Bankers to service loans in accordance with bank policies, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and contribute to community-focused banking initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years agricultural lending experience or equivalent
• Formal credit training or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 college accounting credits, including analysis of balance sheets, income statements and cash flows
• Action-oriented with urgency and enthusiasm
• Ability to analyze customer needs and propose customer-centric solutions
• Build strong customer relationships and loyalty
• Ability to analyze complex balance sheet, income statement ratios and cash flows
• Sales Prospecting, Planning and Organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships to support high loan growth and meet sales targets.
• Prepare credit write-ups and loan presentations for loan committee.
• Manage an existing loan portfolio and minimize losses.
• Represent the bank professionally and participate in community events.
• Lead or support team initiatives to align with organizational goals.
