Farm Credit Services of Mandan is seeking a part-time Ag Accounting Specialist to join our Financial Services team in Mandan, ND. The role focuses on preparing and maintaining farm records, financial reports, and payroll processing for agricultural clients.

Responsibilities include assembling and reconciling data, producing monthly/annual statements, and delivering timely customer service while ensuring accuracy for tax and credit requirements. Benefits are offered with part-time rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field or two years post-secondary education.
• Minimum of two years accounting or payroll related work.
• Experience in customer relationship management.

• Assemble, key, review, distribute, and reconcile customer data to produce monthly and annual farm accounting statements.
• Monitor client reports for accuracy and completeness to meet credit, management, and tax requirements.
• Meet with clients to set up and facilitate accounts.
• Provide high quality, timely customer service.
• Provide education to farm accounting customers and teammates.
• Provide accurate and timely reports to customers and staff.
• Maintain thorough understanding of farm accounting processes, procedures, and regulations.
