Qualifications

• Associate degree in child development or related field is required; two years' direct experience with children under 13.
• Experience working with parent groups such as PTAs or AmeriCorps is preferred.
• Bilingual ability (English and Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin) is a plus.
• Able to coordinate multiple tasks and responsibilities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support group leaders and program aides with classroom activities and behavior issues under supervision.
• Assist with planning and implementing theme-based projects and activities.
• Maintain positive relationships with host schools, parents, staff and children.
• Ensure compliance with policies and health guidelines; protect confidentiality.
• Supervise arrival, snack, and dismissal; manage inventory and order supplies.
