Job summary

CJR is seeking a Part-Time Program Facilitator for the SAFE Waterbury program in Waterbury, CT. The role supports at-risk youth through community outreach and education, coordinating activities, and maintaining student records.

A bachelor’s degree and youth experience are required, with strong communication and collaboration skills essential for success. The position is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 2:30pm-5:30pm, at $23.00 per hour, with seasonal/temporary status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver's License.
• 2 years of experience working with at-risk youth is required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities and engage at-risk youth and families.
• Maintain attendance and student demographic records.
• Communicate daily with participants and coordinate parent meetings.
• Develop and implement lesson plans for job club component.
• Facilitate curriculum and coordinate job shadowing opportunities.
• Organize speaker bureaus and coordinate college tours.
