Job summary

The Eugene Family YMCA is seeking a Youth Development Program Leader 1 to join our after-school program in Eugene, OR. You will provide childcare, homework help, enrichment activities, and foster teamwork and social skills in a nurturing, values-driven environment.

As part of our YMCA culture, you will build authentic relationships with families and youth while following safety and program standards, attending trainings, and supporting staff in delivering high-quality youth development

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Enrolled in the Child Care Division Central Background Registry.
• Complete online application promptly; processing may take weeks.
• Meets Office of Child Care requirements (240 hours of qualifying experience with school-age children in a licensed setting).

Responsibilities

• Provide childcare, homework support, enrichment and physical activities.
• Teach teamwork and social skills; support children's growth and learning.
• Maintain positive, nurturing relationships with children and families.
• Uphold YMCA policies, safety guidelines and program standards.
