Job summary

Community Charter School of Paterson is seeking an After-School Tutoring Supervisor to manage daily operations from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, oversee tutoring staff, and supervise student groups. The role emphasizes safe, productive, and inclusive after-school sessions aligned with school goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) and at least 3 years of teaching/coaching experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to engage families and school leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching and coaching experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Available 3:30-5:30 PM daily.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and data use.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the after-school tutoring program.
• Oversee programming and staff supervision.
• Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring strategies.
• Maintain attendance and safety compliance.
