Job summary

Job Details Job Location: Paterson, NJ 07501 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $60.00 - $60.00 Hourly After-School Tutoring Supervisor

The After-School Tutoring Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of the after-school tutoring program. This role includes overseeing academic programming, supervising tutoring staff, managing student groups, and monitoring student academic progress in alignment with school goals. The Supervisor will ensure a safe, productive, and supportive environment for all participants. Program hours are from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Leadership

• Oversee the implementation of the after-school tutoring program aligned with academic priorities.
• Monitor student engagement and academic progress through regular check-ins and assessments.
• Adjust tutoring strategies to meet the evolving needs of students.

Staff Supervision

• Supervise tutoring staff and provide support, feedback, and training as needed.
• Ensure staff are prepared and equipped with materials and guidance.
• Maintain attendance records for staff and students.

Student Support

• Manage student groupings to ensure academic alignment and productive sessions.
• Address student behavior concerns and implement positive behavior interventions.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.

Data and Compliance

• Track and report student attendance and academic progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and school policies.
• Submit any required program documentation and updates in a timely manner.

Communication and Collaboration

• Coordinate with school leaders, teachers, and families to align after-school support with in-school instruction.
• Serve as a point of contact for program-related questions or concerns from staff and families.
• Communicate program goals, successes, and needs to stakeholders.

• Must be in good standing (attendance and other job responsibilities) and available 3:30-5:30 PM daily.
