Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Provides academic assistance in the student’s area of greatest need on a regular basis.
• Collaborates with the student’s teacher via email concerning academic needs, strengths and weaknesses, and how best to meet the needs.
• Engages students in appropriate academic activities.
• Helps students develop strong study skills.
• Establishes and maintains rapport with students.
• Maintains records of student’s progress.
• Provides evaluations and other reports as requested by Title I Department in a timely manner.
• Reports tutoring hours to an assigned Tutor contact.
• Participates in scheduled meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
