Overview

We are a dynamic afterschool enrichment program dedicated to creating engaging, safe, and supportive environments where children can explore, learn, and thrive. Our Jersey City location is home to a vibrant team of instructors and learners. We are currently seeking a highly organized, responsive, and nurturing Part-Time Soccer Coordinator to join our team.

Position

The Enrichment Site Coordinator is the on-site leader responsible for ensuring the daily operations of the afterschool program run smoothly. This includes managing staff, maintaining strong communication with families and school partners, and responding promptly to emails and logistics. The ideal candidate is proactive, responsive, calm under pressure, and passionate about supporting early learners in a structured enrichment setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for staff, families, and school administrators during program hours
• Monitor daily attendance, manage absences, and ensure students are safely dismissed to authorized adults
• Oversee and support Soccer coaches to ensure smooth transitions and class operations
• Coordinate with off-site leadership to report incidents, absences, or supply needs
• Ensure all safety protocols and program policies are followed
• Step in to support classrooms or instructors if coverage is needed
• Maintain a positive and professional rapport with families, staff, and school partners
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and escalate when appropriate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
• Experience working with young children in an educational or youth setting
• Prior leadership, site management, or coordination experience preferred

• Tech-savvy and capable of responding to emails, updating trackers, and maintaining digital communication
