Job summary

PLAE is seeking a Middle School Site Coordinator for the Northeast Community Propel Academy in Philadelphia. The part-time role (25 hours/week) runs after school until 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays, overseeing operations, staff, and program curriculum for grades 6–8.

You will lead Project-Based Learning, Literacy, SEL, Mentorship, and Sports activities, ensuring safety, alignment with district policies, and family communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required.
• Minimum four years of experience working with children and/or adolescents.
• Experience in afterschool, summer camp, or high school settings preferred.
• Proficiency with administrative systems, program data tracking, and payroll platforms.
• Required state and local background clearances prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program logistics and use of school spaces.
• Supervise snack program and on-site activities.
• Coordinate field trips and on-site vendor activities.
• Maintain accurate program data entry in tracking systems.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and district requirements.
• Provide weekly OST attendance reports to the principal.
