Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) is seeking an EXL Program Instructor to deliver high-quality expanded learning experiences for K-12 youth at school-based sites. You will foster academic and social-emotional growth while upholding BACR values of compassion, curiosity, humility, integrity, and joy.

The role is part-time, non-exempt, and based at school sites in the Bay Area. Expect 20–30 hours weekly with pay between $24 and $28 per hour, depending on location and experience.

Formación

• Requires Associate degree or higher, or 48 college units.
• Completed background check and TB clearance.
• Ability to work after-school hours through mid-June.
• Experience with K-12 youth in educational or community settings.
• Ability to engage diverse youth and families.
• Mandated Reporter certification and trainings.
• Supervising up to 22 youth independently.
• Associate/Bachelor in Education or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Build trusting relationships and belonging for disengaged or struggling students.
• Support students' social-emotional learning through restorative practices.
• Address conflicts with culturally responsive, restorative approaches.
• Communicate safety concerns to the coordinator as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality with students and families; partner with caregivers.
