Rockvillemd is seeking staff to plan and implement recreational activities for the after-school program in Rockville, MD. The role focuses on guiding school-age children through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.

Responsibilities include supervising field trips, maintaining safety, and participating in planning meetings. Must meet MSDE Office of Child Care requirements and complete necessary training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of activities appropriate for school-age children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
• Ability to complete a medical examination within 15 days of hire.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification may be required (training provided).
• Valid Maryland driver’s license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and lead sports, arts and crafts, and other recreational activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Engage children in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Supervise children on scheduled off-site field trips.
• Attend required staff meetings and program planning meetings.
• Maintain credentials and complete MSDE OCC required trainings.
