Champaign Park District is seeking an Afterschool Program Director for a part-time, non-exempt role in Champaign, Illinois. You will oversee fall and spring afterschool programs for children and teens, planning activities, ensuring safety, and guiding part-time staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily afterschool program operations.
• Lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, and field trips.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and support part-time staff and volunteers.
• Ensure safety by enforcing procedures and risk management practices.
• Maintain program records including attendance, reports, and payroll documentation.
• Manage program supplies, inventory, and budgets according to Park District guidelines.
