Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating with schools, creating recruitment plans, and maintaining participant records while overseeing program expenditures and outcome measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks per County policy.
• A valid Utah Driver’s License may be required to operate a vehicle.
• Must be able to travel to Youth Services facilities.

Responsibilities

• Create the structure of the afterschool program based on state and grant standards.
• Develop curriculum, activities, clubs, and events aligning with core subjects.
• Oversee temporary staff: hiring, orienting, training, and assigning work.
• Maintain regular staff meetings and partnerships with community organizations.
• Collaborate with host school administration; attend faculty and team meetings.
• Schedule and monitor classes and activities taught by contractors and teachers.
• Compile weekly, monthly, and annual statistics and records.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and monitor expenditures; adjust as needed.
• Recruit participants and maintain registration processes and statistics.
