City of South Salt Lake is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for the Promise South Salt Lake afterschool program. Work directly with staff and youth to provide a safe, well-supervised environment and support the Center Coordinator in daily operations.

You will plan and implement high-quality academic and enrichment activities, supervise staff and volunteers, assist with youth registration, family communication, and grant data reporting, and help develop partnerships with schools and community

• Assist the Center Coordinator in managing the operation of the program site.
• Plan and implement high-quality academic and enrichment programming within PSSL youth programs.
• Supervise Afterschool Group Leaders/Staff and volunteers, providing structure and leadership.
• Assist in data collection and grant reporting, ensuring attendance, activity reports and surveys are submitted.
• Establish professional relationships with partner organizations, schools, city departments, and funders.
• Coordinate with the Family and Community Engagement team to conduct home visits and community outreach.
• Participate in Promise SSL Councils and Committees.
• Other duties as assigned.
