Job summary

Indian Creek School is seeking an energetic Extended Day Assistant to support students in grades 1–5 in our after-school program. The role runs 2:30–6 p.m.

on weekdays for 17.5 hours per week during the 2026-2027 school year, with potential morning care additions on certain days. This part-time, hourly position requires compliance with childcare regulations, appropriate certifications, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Comply with Office of Child Care regulations.
• Child Care certifications required.
• Early Childhood or Education experience required.
• Federal and State Background Check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in grades 1-5 in after school program.
• Plan and carry out daily planned activities.
• Follow health and safety protocol as mandated by ICS.
• Communicate with extended day faculty and parents when necessary.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Extended Day Program.
• Demonstrate problem solving, communication, conflict resolution and organizational skills.
