Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of children.
• Plan and implement program activities, culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate, aligned with YMCA values.
• Assist participants with schoolwork/homework.
• Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Work as a staff team member with all staff.
• Maintain orderly and safe areas, equipment and supplies.
• Provide quality experiences for children in the programs.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and YMCA activities.
• Complete daily attendance and check-in/out records.
• Arrive on time in appropriate attire and notify supervisor of incidents.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, children, and staff.
• Model relationship-building in all interactions.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by Youth and Family Services Director
