Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Must pass background check and meet state/local childcare licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise afternoon activities for children.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Assist with transitions and communicate with families during pickup.
• Support meal/snack service and classroom cleanup following health guidelines.
• Follow closing procedures and secure the facility at day’s end.
• Document incidents per YMCA policies.
• Collaborate with staff for smooth shift transitions.
